ANCESTRO desire is to create a “fabric” between people and objects (garments) based on stories: stories to rediscover our ancestral values through the culture and history that precedes us from our indigenous cultures, which are a fundamental part of our development in understanding our natural and cultural environment. Stories to leave a mark on a Colombian proposal… That will also tell its own story.
Ancestro & Cultures
At Ancestro (handcrafted hats), we seek to create innovative and unique products, where the designs and pictographic language of the fabrics made by the Wayúu, Inga, Kamsá, Misak, and Arauco cultures of Colombia are the driving force. To this end, we are exploring the initiative of having a brand linked to a project that involves new trends in artisan design and the indigenous weaving community.
