Ancestro is a permanent search to contribute, learn about and create a weaving between people and objects based on stories, stories to recognize our ancestral values, stories to leave a mark on a new proposal.
We seek to involve the artisan and ancestral weavings made by our indigenous communities WAYÚU, INGA, MISAK , ARHUACA Y KAMSÁ , in new applications for diverse pieces in garments, accessories and spaces. Our products and services aim to achieve synergy between history, inspiration, and love.

Garments with story
the weavings made by the indigenous people blend into the quality of the handwork made by so many people.
The pieces are delivered with the meaning of the weaving and a small section where we contextualize the region and the community that made it.
Part of the magic of indigenous work is that we rediscover the art of creating and creativity as such, which comes from our indigenous roots, and that are part of each of these communities in their “style” and “way” of modern life, that’s why we create infinite color combinations and shapes making each of the pieces unique.
How do we do it?
A través de la generación de trabajo para familias indígenas puntuales en sus técnicas de tejidos artesanales, se ofrece un ingreso que también se convierte en otra manera de explorar su propia creatividad. Cada grupo con el que trabajamos está integrado por entre 8 y 12 personas con sus familias. Optimizar, mejorar y proyectar nuevas oportunidades laborales para dar a conocer sus raíces, a través de la entrega de insumos técnicos, conceptuales, instructivos y materiales de trabajo que, de cierta manera, sean un referente para el nuevo mercado laboral actual, que avanza muy rápidamente lo anterior, buscando su conveniencia, que no sean explotados y por supuesto, que no se pierda la esencia de su cultura actualmente.
